How would help someone close to you who has a problem?

I always try to listen to them to get as much information as possible I use the 6W method. In the 6W method you ask basic questions about the situation:

These questions allow me to understand their situation. It is also important to be empathetic to understand their emotions. Then I ask them what ideas they have in their head to solve the problem.

With all this information, we start looking at all the alternative solutions to the problem and what risks each solution may have.

After some time, I ask them if they were able to solve the problem.

What you did yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Yesterday was Monday. I worked on my personal project, a business model to understand the type of business I would like to start, then studied English for an hour, focused on my reading skills and finally, at night watched a movie on Netflix.

Today is Tuesday. I am going to exercise, read a book about movies, go to the park near my house and talk with other colleagues in English.

Tomorrow is Wednesday. I will start my day by exercising, then take a shower, after that have breakfast with my wife, take my English class with Louis, and write the script for my next YouTube videos.

What is your dream holiday destination? And why?

I would love to visit the Egyptian Pyramids because I am interested in the lost civilizations. There were six great civilizations that were the basis for the development of humanity:

  1. The Mayan
  2. The Inca
  3. Egyptian
  4. Mesopotamian
  5. Indian-Hindu
  6. Chinese

I enjoy studying the history of these old civilizations and would like to visit the places where these ancient civilizations started. I know something about the Inca civilization because I am Peruvian. My next dream vacation destination is Egypt, continue exploring other places.

The fishing day

When I was 12, I lived with my grandparents in the countryside. we lived in a small town called Ambar. I have some fond memories of this place. For example, I remember my first-day fishing.

One day my uncles and I went to fish in a river near our house.

When we got to the river, my uncle Carlos gave me a fishing rod and said: “Javier, try to catch something.”

I had never seen a fishing rod before I went to Ambar. That was my first experience fishing.

I was fishing for 30 minutes when my uncle asked me: “did you catch something?”.

I said: “No, I didn’t catch anything”.

“Don’t give up, keep trying”, said my uncle.

I saw that my uncles fished a lot of trout. It was incredible.

I had no luck on my first-day fishing.

I had been fishing for over an hour before I gave up.

But it was a beautiful experience. I enjoyed the beautiful landscapes. I had a lot of fun with my uncles.  And most important, that day we ate fried trout with rice for dinner.
