Week #1: Definición de objetivos, desglose de trabajo, identificación tareas y hábitos

Para el reto "English for Developers", necesito cumplir con los siguientes objetivos:
  • Preparing for an interview
  • Improve workplace communication skills 
  • Learn vocabulary specific to software development
    En base a los objetivos propuestos, se elabora una WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), en el que cada entregable debe contemplar la ejercitación de las cuatro habilidades linguisticas: comprensión auditiva (Listening), expresión oral (Speaking), comprensión de lectura (Reading) y expresión escrita (Writing).

    Los hábitos a menudo pueden apoyar el logro de objetivos. Es por esto que se recomienda cultivar una "daily routine" a través de los siguientes ejercicios relacionados a los entregables propuestos en la WBS:

    • Learn a new idiom or expressions
    • Strengthen your grammar skills
    • Read the news
    • Review what you learned

    Habits. Actions we do every day

    • Every weekday, I get up at 7, have breakfast and then I start my work activities.
    • I first check my emails and I only reply to those that are urgent. 
    • Later, we have a daily meeting with the team between 10 and 12.
    • At around 1pm I have lunch while I watch the news
    • I get back to work at 2pm and I work up until 6 o'clock.
